MOLNLYCKE Alldress composite dressing can be used as a primary dressing for clean wounds and where a barrier to fluids, dirt and bacteria is required. Alldress can also be used as a secondary dressing for open wounds together with hypergel, normlgel, mesalt and melgisorb. The porous net is low-adherent and protects fires from the absorbent pad entering the wound. The absorbent pad absorbs excess exudate and minimizes the risk of maceration. The gentle adhesive keeps the dressing securely in place. The nonwoven layer provides stability to the dressing structure for ease of application. The semi-permeable film maintains a moist environment and at the same time protects both the wound and the environment from dirt and bacteria as well as from wound fluids passing through the dressing. Alldress is made of a laminate of polyurethane film and a polyester nonwoven coated with a polyacrylate adhesive. The absorbent pad is covered with a low-adherent polyolefin net.
