MOLNLYCKE Mepitac soft silicone tape consists of a silicone coated fabric covered by a breathable polyurethane film. The soft silicone adhesive assures minimized trauma and pain on removal. Unlike most traditional adhesives used on tapes, safetac contains no skin-irritating substances. Mepitac is unique in that is provides reliable fixation while at the same time minimizes damage to the skin and pain to the patient upon removal. This cut to length tape is atraumatic to the skin upon removal and is ideal fixation for patients with fragile skin or reactions to traditional tapes and adhesives. Mepitac is highly conformable and easy to apply and remove. The safetac layer Ensures secure fixation and atraumatic removal from skin and bodily hair. If inspection or repositioning is necessary, mepitac can be lifted and re-applied and is an ideal fixation solution for patients with fragile and sensitive skin or with allergies to traditional adhesives. Mepitac is suitable for patients requiring repeated application and removal of tape over the same area. This breathable tape has a waterproof film backing and leaves no residues. It is 3/4 inch wide by 118 inches (2x300cm). Allowed 1 roll per 30 days. The tape is sold by the individual roll, to receive a case, order 12 rolls.
