SMITH & NEPHEW Allevyn gentle border gel adhesive is a hydrocellular foam dressing with border. Allevyn gentle border is suitable for use on fragile skin. This dressing features an advanced triple-layered construction, absorbent hydrocellular pad, perforated silicone gel adhesive wound contact layer, adhesive border for gentle but effective fixation and a highly permeable waterproof outer film. Triple-action technology absorbs, retains, and transpires exudate to provide optimal fluid management. Allevyn provides an optimal moist wound environment for the promotion of faster healing. Gentle adhesive allows for less painful dressing changes. This dressing stays in place for up to 7 days. Long wear time = fewer dressing changes. The total dressing measures 5x5 inches (12.5X12.5Cm), with a 4x4inch (10x10cm) pad. This product is sold by the individual dressing. It has 40 in a case, 4 packages of 10 dressings.
