DUKAL Sterile Woven Gauze T-Drain Sponges have an absorbent 16 ply and are used for trach sponges. Best know for traditional wound care, these 4 by 4 inch sponges are made from rayon/poly blend. The sponges are pre-cut to offer a snug fit around catheters, tubes, IVs and tracheotomies. The manufacturing process assures clean, debris-free packing with folded edges to prevent unraveling. The Sterile Sponge is packed in a coated paper envelope to reduce fiber debris. This easy-open envelope is also carefully sealed to prevent the intrusion of dust and contaminants. Also called Split Gauze. This item is sold by the individual box of 25 sponges and packaged 12 boxes in a case.
