The Life & Connect flange system allows finger-tip access between the wafer and flange to ensure an easy, secure connection without putting pressure on the abdomen when attaching pouch to the wafer. The extended wear barrier is an appropriate choice for ostomates who have an ileostomies or have a colostomy and have a liquid stool output. The extended wear barrier is designed to be the most resistant to discharge. The cut-to-fit skin barrier can be cut up 2 ¼in (57mm) to accommodate the unique size and shape of the stoma. The actual barrier size is 5inx5in. Product numbers are arranged so it is easy to select the correct pouch needed. The last 3 digits of our 2-Piece systems indicates the flange size.
