COVIDIEN Nasoenteric tubes have a y-port connector that permits irrigation and medication administration without disconnecting feeding set. It is made of premium medical-grade polyurethane material and has a patented flow-through tungsten bolus. Designed to resist collapse during aspiration of stomach contents, it has an open-end feeding port at distal end of tube, with at least one side port. This tube is radiopaque. The water-activated lubricant eliminates need for additional lubrication. Markings on tube surface indicate french size, total tube length in inches and centimeters, graduated length and Ross list number.
