The barrier features a floating flange allowing for fingers to be put under the flange for support while attaching the pouch to the barrier and eliminating pressure on tender post operative abdomens, the presized barrier allows the user to apply it without any preparation, fits a stoma up to 1 1/4 inches (32mm), integral convexity which is indicated for stomas that are flush, recessed or retracted, and flexwear standard wear, synthetic skin barrier which is designed to be worn more than one day.
